STHAMEX® - MARINE 3% F-20 is a fluorine-free fire extinguishing foam agent specially developed as a replacement for fluoroprotein or AFFF fire extinguishing foam agents in the marine environment (e.g. for use in deck foam systems) for use with seawater. The product was developed for fighting fires of non-polar liquids with low- and high-expansion foam in the marine environment (tankers, drilling rigs, ....) in accordance with IMO MSC.1/Circ. 1312 and ICAO Level B with seawater. The low viscosity allows the use of commercially available proportioners and dosing systems down to the lowest operating temperature of -20°C. These properties of STHAMEX® - MARINE 3% F-20 make it particularly easy to replace newtonian and fluorine-containing foam concentrates. This makes STHAMEX® - MARINE 3% F-20 the fluorine-free alternative for fluoroprotein or AFFF foaming agents on board ships, off-shore platforms, etc.
