STHAMEX® - MARINE 3% F-20 is a fluorine-free fire extinguishing foam agent specially developed as a replacement for fluoroprotein or AFFF fire extinguishing foam agents in the marine environment (e.g. for use in deck foam systems). The product was developed for fighting fires of non-polar liquids with low- and high-expansion foam in the marine environment (tankers, drilling rigs, ....) in accordance with IMO MSC.1/Circ. 1312 and ICAO Level B with seawater. The low viscosity allows the use of commercially available proportioners and dosing systems down to the lowest operating temperature of -20°C. These properties of STHAMEX® - MARINE 3% F-20 make it particularly easy to replace newtonian and fluorine-containing foam concentrates. This makes STHAMEX® - MARINE 3% F-20 the fluorine-free alternative for fluoroprotein or AFFF foaming agents on board ships, off-shore platforms, etc.
