vaPUREx ® AR 1/3 F-5 is readily biodegradable, fluorine- and preservatives-free. The generated foam has an unusually high water-binding capacity and special viscoelastic properties, which significantly determine the performance profile: the foam is very flowable, seals well and is particularly stable against heat and air movement. Minor damage to the foam blanket (e.g. caused by falling objects) closes automatically, thus ensuring a high level of safety against re-ignition. vaPUREx ® AR 1/3 F-5 is resistant to both polar and non-polar, foam-destroying hydrocarbons and mixtures thereof. A stable polymer film forms on polar, foam-destroying liquid hydrocarbons, which prevents further destruction of the foam.
