Sales Support Clerk (Part-time, 20 hours) (m/f/d)

We, DR. STHAMER, are a globally operating, traditional Hamburg company. Since 1886, we have been researching, developing, and manufacturing at our site in Hamburg / Billbrook and selling our products worldwide.

Today, we specialize in fluorine-free, environmentally friendly foam extinguishing agents for effective firefighting. If you'd like to contribute to this responsible role and are looking for a varied and challenging job, then you've come to the right place.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for our Office in Jena at the earliest possible date dedicated sales administrator for the "Stationary Fire Suppression Systems" sector (m/f/d). In this role, you are an important part of our sales team and make a significant contribution to the success of our company.

Your area of responsibility:

  • Customer support and advice: Proactive support of existing and new customers and handling of customer inquiries by telephone, email or in personal meetings
  • Projects: Support and coordination of various customer projects
  • Order processing: Creating and tracking offers and orders, including the corresponding documentation in the system
  • Data maintenance: Maintenance and updating of the customer database, as well as the management of sales information in CRM systems.
  • Sales support: Supporting the internal and external sales force in the preparation of sales promotions and offers.
  • Laboratory analyses: Consulting on laboratory analyses and project-related laboratory services
  • Market analysis: Monitoring market trends and competitors, and passing on relevant information to the team.

Requirements:

  • Completed commercial training (e.g. wholesale and foreign trade merchant (m/f/d)),
    Industrial clerk (m/f/d), freight forwarding clerk (m/f/d) or similar training
  • Initial experience in sales administration or a comparable position
  • Proficient use of MS Office (especially Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Good communication skills and enjoyment of telephone customer contact.
  • Organizational talent and independent work style
  • Teamwork skills and a strong service orientation
  • Good knowledge of modern information software such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and the Internet; basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Language skills:
    • Fluent in German, both spoken and written.
    • Good English skills, both spoken and written.
  • Goal-oriented/process-oriented work
  • High willingness and ability to learn
  • Positive handling of constructive criticism
  • Polite, friendly and open-minded behavior towards customers and employees
